Children's Camp

Experience how a true cowboy/cowgirl lives their daily lives at our children's summer camp programs. Learn all about horses, team work and survival in a group that's tailored especially for your age. It's the perfect way to spend your summer, to meet new friends and to have the time of your life!

Wildwood Manor Ranch's children's camps operate
during the Summer school break, March break, Winter break and holidays.

Programs run from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm daily
(extended hours available).


Winter & March Break Camps       [back to top]
These camps run during the school breaks, for children
6 yrs old and up. Have a blast with horseback riding, hayrides, animal care, cross country skiing, tobogganing, skating and delicious hot chocolate! The cost is only $75/day or $330/week (taxes included).


Summer Camp                          [back to top]

Junior Camp:
Ages 3 and up. $275 per/week or $60/day. Junior camp includes an hour of horseback riding, animal care, swimming in our heated pool with a qualified certified lifeguard, crafts, games, sports, hayrides and so much more!

July 26th to 30th (Resident Week): Disney

August 16th to 20th: Swimming Carnival
August 23rd to 27th: Let's Pretend
August 30th to September 3rd: Gourmet Cooking

Ranchers:
Ages 9 years and up. $330 per/week or $75/day. Learn to ride a variety of different horses, learn about grooming, feeding and handling horses, work towards competing in our rodeo each week, swim in our heated pool, participate in a variety of sports and much more!


What to Bring                                              [back to top]

The list of “what to bring” are essential items, you may bring other things. Please keep in mind storage space is limited. A Rodeo is run on Thursday so wear something Western for that event.

Please bring:
1. Full payment for your first week of camp, due on
    Monday
2. Swimsuit and towel.
3. Long pants for riding, (no sandals, flip flops, platform
     soles, or canvas shoes).
4. Rain coat and boots for wet days.
5. Lunch and spending money. ($7 per day for cooked
    lunch and drinks - day campers only).
6. Insect repellant - muskol is best (no sprays).
7. Sunscreen (rub on - not spray)
8. A hat for the sun.
9. Energy and happiness.


Lunch                                                                [back to top]

You may bring your own lunch, or purchase a
home-cooked meal from Grandma for only $7/person. Lunch consists of home-made soup and an entre, and includes fruit, juice and milk.


Resident Camp                                            [back to top]

Resident camp available for the weeks of:
- July 19th, 2010
- July 26th, 2010
- August 9th, 2010

$550 per/week. Enjoy a full day ranch program for your age group, sleep in our rustic covered wagons, participate in a wide range of evening programs and dine on Grandma's delicious meals in our recreation building!

After Resident Camp ends, you may stay with us for
the weekend for an extra $330! This includes two nights accommodation, two days of weekend camp, and
your meals.


Overnight Items                                 [back to top]

1. Everything the day camper brings except item 5 above,
PLUS:
2. Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste and     brush, hairbrush, etc.)
3. Sleeping bag, pillow, warm blanket and foam or air     mattress.
4. Pyjamas.
5. Sufficient clothing for your stay (underclothes, socks,     shirts, shorts, jeans, etc.)
6. Warm coat or sweater for the evening.
7. Bag for dirty laundry.
8. Flashlight and batteries.
9. Musical instruments if desired (but no radios,
     mp3 players or knives.)
10. Spending money for tuck shop, shirts, hats, etc.
